The Mutt Cafe blog revolves around two of the things I love most: books and animals. I expect that quite a few of my other interests will make an appearance from time to time as well.

About Myself
Books have always played an important role in my life.
From early on, I spent hours on end immersed in the varied worlds created by authors such as Isaac Asimov and Alan Dean Foster. Swiftly I grew to love mysteries as well, delving deep into the classics - Agatha Christie, Josephine Tey, Ruth Rendell and more. I am fortunate to live in an era where books are in abundance, and the digital revolution has given readers access to a vast number of new authors and titles. I've been particularly pleased by the abundance of mysteries featuring intelligent and engaging animals. It is my pleasure to be able to share that love of books with other readers.
