Review

Beau Smith manages to take the traditional western motif - justice by way of the gunslinger and updates it by adding all the modern bells and whistles (zombies, demons, mad scientists and more). Smith's graphic novel may not be "high falutin" entertainment but it certainly is a fun ride. Lots of action, monsters, and a characteristic touch of humor make Wynonna Earp worth reading. (You won't want to miss the demon hillbillies)

Wynonna Earp takes after her famous ancestor in at least one way - her skill with a gun. She works for the US Marshals Black Badge division. Riding a motorcycle as opposed to a horse, Wynonna is charged with ridding the world of supernatural threats, and keeping knowledge from the public.

You have never seen a West like this.

4/5

I received a copy of Wynonna Earp: Homecoming from the publisher and netgalley.com in exchange for an honest review.
