Review Robbie Jordan's dream of owning a rustic country store/cafe has come true. Despite a few obstacles in the permitting process, Pans 'n Pancakes is open for business. Everyone in town comes to the opening including the mayor's assistant Stella, the woman who made setting up and opening Pans 'n Pancakes as difficult as possible.
When Stella is found dead later that evening with one of Robbie's cheesy biscuits stuffed in her mouth, suspicions fall on Robbie. As it becomes clear that someone is trying to frame her, Robbie starts asking questions. Stella was blackmailing much of the town and suspects abound. The longer it takes to find the killer, the more danger Pans 'n Pancakes is in. To protect her livelihood and her life, Robbie needs to quickly find the truth.
Flipped for Murder is an enjoyable cozy with just a touch of romance. With its cast of interesting small town characters and agreeable lead, Flipped for Murder looks to be a great start to a new cozy series.
