Grand Passion is a romance novel written with men in mind. More gunshots and explosions than hearts and flowers grace these pages as a small-town cop falls in love with a bank robber. Meeting face to face during a shootout that leaves them both partnerless, they are destined to either kill each other or get it on. Grand Passion is violent, its romance unbelievable and its dialogue corny, but it is a fun ride. It definitely isn't for everyone. If your ideal story has plenty of explosions, bullets, sex and corruption, Grand Passion is the graphic novel for you. The art is sensational, even if the plot is simplistic. This is not for younger or more sensitive audiences.

Beau Smith manages to take the traditional western motif - justice by way of the gunslinger and updates it by adding all the modern bells and whistles (zombies, demons, mad scientists and more). Smith's graphic novel may not be "high falutin" entertainment but it certainly is a fun ride. Lots of action, monsters, and a characteristic touch of humor make Wynonna Earp worth reading. (You won't want to miss the demon hillbillies)
Wynonna Earp takes after her famous ancestor in at least one way - her skill with a gun. She works for the US Marshals Black Badge division. Riding a motorcycle as opposed to a horse, Wynonna is charged with ridding the world of supernatural threats, and keeping knowledge from the public.
You have never seen a West like this.
