I've read the entirety of Angie Fox's Southern Ghost Hunter series, and have to say that The Haunted Heist is the best installment yet. There is ample humor, an intriguing mystery, and more than a dash of charming romance. I absolutely adore Frankie, Verity's ghostly companion, a former wise guy. When you come from a world of guns, mobsters, speakeasies and high action, it's no surprise that being tied to an urn cramps your style - particularly when trips to the dollar store and the library are your main excursions. Verity is still trying to make a go of her graphic design business, but her ex's mom has made life extremely difficult. She is more successful when it comes to becoming involved in murder.
