The Philosophy Behind Miss Stephenie's HomeBaked Pet Treats

Our pets gift us with boundless love, laughter and fun, asking for little more than a loving home, good food, and a comfortable bed in return. As loving pet parents, our actions ensure our pets live long, happy and healthy lives.

A healthy diet increases longevity and helps prevent disease.

Common brands of pet food and treats are made with low quality ingredients that do not meet human grade standards. Highly processed, chemical and by-product laden food and treats pose a serious threat to the health of our pets.

If we are not willing to eat what is in our pets' food, why should we be willing to feed it to our beloved pets.

My goal, as the founder of Miss Stephenie's HomeBaked Pet Treats, is to create and provide delicious, healthy, all natural and organic pet treats.

All of Miss Stephenie's HomeBaked Pet Treats use only the highest quality human grade ingredients. Our treats use only natural unrefined sweeteners including honey, maple syrup, and molasses. Minimally processed whole grains, fresh fruit and vegetables, and quality sources of protein are our central ingredients.

Why I Starting Making HomeBaked Pet Treats

Making homemade dog treats unites two great loves in my life—Baking and Dogs.

I've always loved baking. Creating wonderful treats for others to enjoy is a pleasure.

When the pet food scare hit, I took a serious look at the food and treats my dogs were eating. Many of the ingredients, even in gourmet treats, were completely unrecognizable and others were clearly chemical additives. It was then that I decided—No More Store Bought Treats!

I decided to apply my baking talents to creating healthy and delicious cookies for my pets that I wouldn't be afraid to eat.

After much research and experimentation, as well as tasting by my two dedicated testers- Farley and Charley, I was finally ready for other pups to try my homebaked treats.

The drool, doggie smiles and tail wags made everything worthwhile.

There is nothing more beautiful than a happy dog!
